elevated 5ReIn Rosa Ng Mak, August 23, 1925 – December 10, 2020. Rosa passed away peacefully at Scarborough Grace Hospital in her 95th year. Cherished wife of Joseph Hung Cheung Wan (October 13, 2008) whom she was married to for 64 years. Beloved mother to Assunta, Teresa and John (September 14, 2002) . Rosa will also be dearly missed by her daughter-in-law Viola, grandsons Felix and Dominic, grand daughter-in-law Elsie, two great grandchildren Raphael and Jude, and Dominic’s girlfriend Shelley.

elevated 5ReIn Rosa Mak embodied many of the qualities and traits valued in our Chinese culture and as a devout Catholic. Although Rosa may be a simple person, that did not stop her from learning how to live a studious and virtuous life.  Rosa Ng Mak was a kind-hearted, understanding, loving and selfless person. A quick reflection should yield our own unique and touching memories with Rosa where these qualities were on full display.

elevated 5ReIn Nurturing and attentive, Rosa put these traits to good use while enjoying her hobby in gardening.  One year, she grew a pumpkin so large that it would have fared well in a pumpkin growing competition.  For the other times, Rosa would share the regular sized vegetables and flowers with her family, friends, and neighbors.  Let us celebrate her generosity and the life that she lived.
