elevated MDq6k God called Rosa Turkiewicz peacefully on April 3, 2024 at the age of 92. She is now reunited in Heaven with her loving husband Joseph. Cherished by her dear children Marcel (Diane), Robert (Marcella) and Lidia (Roberto). Proud grandmother to Zenon, Shawn, Luca, Erica, Daniel and Alessia. Adored great-grandmother to Nicolas and Natalia. She will be held dear in the hearts of her family and friends. In memory of Rosa, donations can be made out to either the Heart & Stroke Foundation, Sick Kids Foundation or to the Diabetes Association.

I have wonderful memories and lunches with Rosa when I was working at the RBC on Shoreham.
We kept in touch and last seen her 10 years ago.

Rosa (Ursomarzo) (Rosa’s Place) Turkiewicz was about 15 years old when WW2 finally ended. Essentially, she was and continues to be the Matriarch of the family ever since. My personal and emotional memories of her are in my heart, along with Marcel, Robert and Lidia. And also, with Anna Scarfo, Mary Ursomarzo and all her beloved brothers that have since passed away before her. God bless her resting soul – well done Rosa.
