elevated 4EDi7 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother Rosalia Lupis. With her family at her side Rosalia passed away peacefully on Friday, November 14, 2025. Predeceased by her adored parents Giuseppe & Anna Maria Zavaglia. Leaving behind her beloved husband and love of her life Cosimo. She also leaves behind her three adoring sons Massimo (Luisa), Fabio (Nin) and Christian (Marlo). Cherished Nonna to Daniel, Michael and Marella. Rosalia will be lovingly remembered by her seven brothers (sister in laws) many nieces, nephews, cousins and Godchildren. She will be warmly remembered by many family members, extended family and friends in both Canada and Italy.
elevated 4EDi7 Rosalia immigrated on her own from Mammola, Reggio Calabria Italy to Toronto, Canada in 1966. She was a woman of strength and determination. She will always be remembered for her kindness, and an unwavering commitment to family. There was always an extra seat at her kitchen table. Her home and heart were always open to everyone.
elevated 4EDi7 She was a nurturing and warm lady who always found the good in everyone. She was an avid gardener, loved to bake, cook and be surrounded by family and friends.
elevated 4EDi7 Rosalia was a woman deeply committed to her Catholic faith so we take comfort in knowing that she has been reunited with her parents and other family members in God’s Kingdom. We are heartbroken as we have lost our beloved Rosalia.

Riposa in pace cara comare. I remember all the dinners and holidays we had together with your family and my parents. The food and laughter were very special.
