elevated wfinU It is with profound sadness and deep faith that we announce the passing of our beautiful sister, Rosanna Panzani, born September 25, 1964, in Greater Sudbury, who passed away on March 1, 2026, after a long and courageous illness. She fought bravely and with quiet strength until it was her time to reunite with her beloved Mom and Dad in Heaven.
elevated wfinU Born and raised in Sudbury, Rosanna carried the strength, resilience, and loyalty of the North throughout her life. She attended Laurentian University and remained proud of her roots even after moving to Mississauga in the spring of 2000.
elevated wfinU Rosanna was the cherished daughter of Joseph Panzani, born in Luca, Italy, who came to Canada in 1960, and Dina Antonia Panzani, born in Bari, Italy, who arrived in 1959. Married in 1961, they built a home centered on faith, hard work, and devotion — values Rosanna lived out every day.
elevated wfinU She is lovingly survived by her brother, Paul Panzani of Georgetown, Ontario; her nephews, Alexander Paul Panzani, Lucas Joseph Panzani, and Stefen Douglas Panzani; and her lifelong friend, David Jinks, who stood faithfully by her side every day for the past 28 years.
elevated wfinU Rosanna lived life with intensity and heart. When she did something, she did it with everything she had. When she loved, she loved hard. When she laughed, she laughed hard. When she committed, she committed fully. There was no halfway with Rosanna — she gave her whole heart to life.
elevated wfinU She worked faithfully for 27 years, and even during the most difficult seasons of her illness, she continued to show up. She endured quietly, with determination and dignity. Her perseverance was remarkable — she simply kept going.
elevated wfinU Fitness and the outdoors were her passions. She loved mountain biking, long jogs, and daily walks. She lived an active life, staying strong both physically and mentally. She was known for her large plates of fresh salads, her disciplined lifestyle, and her commitment to clean living.
elevated wfinU Rosanna loved nature and all animals deeply. Her beloved black Labrador, Nathan, was her best friend until his passing in 2017. Her Standard Poodle, Justin, brought her great joy and companionship. She had a rare gentleness — the kind of soul who could raise her hands to a bird in a tree and somehow the bird would fly down to her.
elevated wfinU Above all, Rosanna was love — a beautiful daughter and a true gift from God.
elevated wfinU Today, we are confident she is safe and secure in Heaven, reunited with her Mom and Dad and surrounded by family and friends who have gone before her. We imagine them right there.

So very sad and heartbroken to hear the news! You were an amazing person whom I was so glad to have met! RIP Rosanna…you will be missed! ❤️
It was hard hearing of your passing Rosanna, my friend, I never ever forgot the times we spent together in High School. Many yrs of fun and even after school we still ran into each other and had good talks and laughs. I cherished each and every moment. May your new journey be as good as the one you made for yourself. Love and respect always. 🙏
So sorry for your loss.
Rest in peace Rosanna.
It was an absolutely pleasure working with you, you were to be admired for your strength and dedication.
Dear Rosanna,
I never had the opportunity to know you personally, but I always heard about you with great love and pride from Dina, Beppino, and Paul during their trips to Italy, to San Gennaro di Lucca. Through their stories, I could feel how deeply you were loved and how important you were to your family.
The news of your passing brings me great sadness. Even though we never met, the love they had for you always reached us, and that says so much about the kind of person you were.
Now all I can do is wish for you to rest peacefully and safely in Heaven, reunited with Beppino and Dina, embraced in eternal peace.
Rest in peace.
Dear cousin, I’m deeply saddened for your death. You lived far from Italy but always in my heart. I’m certain that you will be reunited in heaven with your loved ones: Uncle Beppino and Aunt Dina, and you will not be alone. As I wait to meet again one day…I wish you to rest in peace.
Dear Rosanna, you are my dear cousin, geographically distant but close in heart. Even though I haven’t seen you in a long time, I often thought of you and your dear family: Uncle Giuseppe, Aunt Dina, and your dear brother Paolo. Your death truly broke my heart, but I’m sure you will find your loved ones in heaven and you won’t be alone. As we wait to meet again one day…I hope you rest in peace.

My cousin Rosanna was such a special part of my childhood. Growing up on the same street gave us so many wonderful memories. She used to babysit us, but she was also someone who always made time for us.
I’ll always remember riding our bikes around the neighbourhood and sitting at her place talking and laughing. She was a great listener and always gave the best advice. I looked up to her so much.
I cherish those memories deeply. I love you, Rosanna, and will miss you dearly.
