elevated h82qM It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Rose Gonzalez, who departed this world on July 24, 2025 at the age of 66. She was surrounded by those she loved, and her spirit lives on in the many lives she touched.
elevated h82qM Born on September 30th, 1958 in Corleone, Sicily, she was the cherished daughter of the late Carmelo and Salvatrice (nee Pennino) Mirabile.
elevated h82qM Rose was the devoted wife of Alejandro, who together built a life of many beautiful memories, happiness, and strength. Rose’s daughters, Silvana (Emily) and Adriana, were the very core of her world. She loved them deeply, guiding them with wisdom, patience, and a fierce devotion that only a mother could possess. Rose also loved her fur-babies, Theo and the late Wizard, very much.
elevated h82qM She will fondly be remembered by her beloved brother Leo, who was a fierce constant in her life and stood by her side through every season. Their bond remains unbreakable, even in her passing. Rose was the sister-in-law to the adored Pierina and Zia to her cherished niece and nephew, Samantha and Anthony.
elevated h82qM Rose was a loving sister-in-law to her surviving brother-in-law, Antonio, and to the memory of her three deceased siblings-in-law, Julia, Carlos, and Doris. She was a remarkable Tia to Carlos, Celso, Michel, Sandro, and Stephanie. She also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, and cousins from near and afar that she deeply admired.
elevated h82qM Rose was a constant source of support for not only her family, but the countless friends she made throughout her experiences as a student, classroom supporter, administrator, caregiver, and parent.
elevated h82qM Her warmth, generosity, and love of entertaining made her home a true sanctuary, where everyone always felt welcomed and at ease. She was known to share laughter into the early hours of the morning with her family and friends, offer an abundance of food to all that entered her home, and to have heartfelt conversations with her loved ones.
elevated h82qM Known to many as a pillar of courage, Rose has left an indelible mark on this world. We know her love will continue to surround our family and friends, guiding us in the days to come.

I met my cousin Rose when she was 4 years old. Many years passed before we would rekindled a friendship that would become solid to the core. Although we were many miles apart our weekly phone conversations forged a relationship that became truly loving. You will be deeply missed sweet cousin, but you will forever remain in my heart. Rest in peace my dear Cousin Rose.

The loss is great and the sadness cannot be measured with the passing of Rose. She fought with such incredible strength and grace, inspiring us all every step of the way. Our memories of her laughter, smile, kindness and genuineness will be shared with our grandchildren so that Rose’s goodness lives on. She truly was one of the best!

I struggle to put my feelings into words in this situation. Rose, Alex, Silvana and Adriana were such a pivotal part of my childhood. So many of my best memories were with them. As an adult, in my most devastating and painful moment—losing my Abuela (Julia Cacheiro)—Rose swept in without hesitation to support me with her whole heart. I do not know what I would have done without her. That feeling of being held and supported when I needed it most is something I will carry with me for a lifetime. It will have a forever ripple effect, as I hope to offer Rose’s same level of selfless care and empathy to my loved ones. Rose and her family have been there for me at both ends of the spectrum—the light, happy moments and the darkest ones too. I can’t sum up what this means to me in just a few words. I will just say: I love you, thank you, from the bottom of my heart. I will miss you so dearly, but I know that you will always be with us. And that we will all meet again someday.

I want you to know how deeply sorry I am for your loss. Your mom was such a beautiful strong, and loving soul.
I met your mom, Rose, through my dad. He worked in a laundry factory with her mom. Rose helped me land my very first after-school job at Woolworths! We worked behind the diner serving customers, and feeling rich with all the tips we took home. Back then, those few dollars felt like a fortune!!
I am incredibly grateful that I had the chance to visit Rose at home. We talked, we remembered, we laughed, and even cried together. It’s a beautiful memory that I will cherish in my heart forever.
Rose spoke of her girls with such pride, with tenderness, and love. They were her world.
Please know I am thinking of you and sending all my love and support your way.

I had the privilege of meeting Rose over 18 years ago when she started at The Edge Benefits. She was always a positive and energetic friend.
Rose always took the time for anyone who had questions or needed guidance whether it be work or life in general.
She was a fashionista with nothing out of place…her makeup, hair and outfits and her big smile was something I looked forward to seeing in the morning.

I was very saddened to her about the passing of Mrs. Gonzalez. I was blessed to get to know her through the Saint Gaspar School community. I taught both of her lovely daughters, Silvana and Adriana, and I fondly remember the family.
