elevated VcAqN It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Mrs. Rosemarie Bautista Tibor of Mississauga at the age of 79, on Friday, January 30, 2026. Rosemarie passed away comfortably and peacefully, surrounded by her loving family.
elevated VcAqN Rosemarie was the beloved wife of Cesar Puey Tibor, a devoted husband whose love and support she cherished deeply. She was a wonderful and selfless mother to her three children, Nancy (Jess), Cecilia, and Henry, whom she raised with endless love, guidance, and dedication. She was also a proud and loving grandmother to Andrew Luis, Maria Jessica, Theodora Angela, Patrick Michael, and Cristopher Jon, who brought her immense joy and pride.
elevated VcAqN Rosemarie leaves behind her sisters Elsa and Erlinda, Josephine (Antonio), and her brother Jose (Leodith), with whom she shared a lifetime of memories, love, and deep family bonds. She will also be fondly remembered by extended family members, dear friends, and all whose lives she touched.
elevated VcAqN The gift of service to others was her life’s mission. She was a good, God-fearing woman — full of compassion, strength, and kindness. Always full of life in serving others, she was a bright light to many: joyful, selfless, and generous, always willing to lend a helping hand. Her warmth, faith, and unwavering love for her family will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her.
elevated VcAqN She is now reunited in eternal peace with her loving parents, Januaria Bautista† and Alfredo Bautista Sr.†, and her dear siblings Alfredo Jr.†, Gloria† (Antonio†), Teddy†, Sophie† (Thomas), and Abe†, who have gone before her.

To the wonderful Perucho family, I am so deeply sorry for your loss. Sending you many thoughts, wishes and hugs at this time. I first met Mama Coy when I was 13 (17 years ago!), she had a wonderful smile, a beautiful demeanour and a gentle touch. I will always remember her puttering around the house and greeting me at the door with warmness. I am grateful for all the time I spent with her alongside the Perucho family.

Mama Coy, you were everyone’s darling, always present at every occasion, reunion, and fiesta. There was never a gathering without you, and people always looked for your joyful presence. I can still hear myself saying, “Ara na si Tita Maringcoy…namit gid ang pagkaon naton sini eh. whenever I can always hear your voice from afar.❤❤❤
As a kid, I was very stubborn, but I loved conspiring with Nancy, Cecille, and Boyen. I have too many childhood memories to mention, but I especially remember staying in Sagay for days and weeks, with the table and refrigerator always filled with food ❤️, surrounded by your laughter, love, and care.
Rest in Heavenly Peace, Mama Coy. May your beautiful soul Rest in Eternal Peace.

Growing up, having short yet wonderful vacations in Negros, we would spend most of the time at Tita Marincoy’s house. She would always welcome us with the widest smile, and I will never forget how cheerful, genuine and generous she is. My childhood would never have been the same without her. Heaven has gained one of the purest hearts I’ve ever known. Say HI to Pappy Nene for me Tita Marincoy, fly high with the angels above.
We will really miss Mamacoy she was one of d closesest family to us. She was always there for us, very suportive in everything we get ourselves into, the best wife n mother to Nancy Cecil n Boying. Its a pity she couldnt spend her 80th birthday in Sagay. We’ll celebrate it for her. Many happy memories with her. She will always be remembered by all of us. Till we meet again Mamacoy may you rest in peace n God Bless.
My deepest condolences on the passing of mam Rosemarie. She was a truly remarkable woman whose generosity and dedication to serving the poor left an indelible mark on this world. It is a beautiful testament to her character that her legacy of kindness lives on through her children. Although I have known the family for just a few years, they have shown their generosity to the faithful in the Mission Station I serve. Truly she had a very positive influence on her children.
May her soul find eternal rest, and may your family feel comforted by the profound positive impact she made. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
I’m going to miss you so much, Mamacoy. Thank you for always taking care of me, for the delicious food, and for all the beautiful memories we shared. Our travels, little trips, and simple moments together will always mean so much to me. I was always so excited whenever you and Papa Sing came to visit from Canada, those times were the best.
It breaks my heart that I didn’t get to say goodbye in person, but please know you will always be remembered as the most loving and wonderful mamang to all of us. I love you so much, Mamacoy. ❤️
My core memory of Mama Coy takes me back to a special moment, poignantly captured in this picture taken during my visit in Mississauga, Canada, in the summer of 2011. She was carefree and bold, even doing the hula at age 65+. She was wearing her default— blouse, loose shorts, and slippers—just as I remember her wearing when we were kids during summers spent in Sagay.
There, we would feast on her cooking and be pampered as we took afternoon naps on the persian rug of her superbly waxed living room.
There, we would go on joyrides as she drove us around Sagay in Papa Sing’s vintage buggy.
There, we would line up at her house at the end of each summer holiday to receive school money in exchange for a warm hug and kiss.
These are a few of the many memories I’ll always hold onto when I think of Mama Coy—happy days, shared laughter, and acts of kindness. You will be deeply missed, Mama Coy. Please say hello to my mama-Sophie, Lola, Lolo, and all our departed family in heaven— may you all watch over us as we carry on, living the joys of everything you have all left behind.

Mama Coy is a truly remarkable woman whose life was defined by love, selflessness, and devotion. She was a mother on every sense, raising Nancy, Cecil and Nonoy Boyen with patience guidance and warmth that shaped them into a wonderful people and my friends since childhood.
Mama Coy is a culinary queen! Her leche flan is one of my top picks too,and I’ve nailed the recipe. Ka perfect 🤩 mag ka inviting 🤤 and the proportions are just right- creamy but not too sweet, talk about a winning combination.
Her laughter ,her gentle spirit and her quiet strength left an imprint on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her .
Though we feel the sorrow of her passing, we also celebrate the life she lived, a life full of love, care and kindness. Her legacy lives in all of us who were touched by her.

My name is Fr. William Roberts.
I’ve known Rosemary Tibor, fondly known by many friends and family as Mama Coy, for over 2 decades where we attended the same church.
The church that we both attended had an agape meal after the service. Momma Coy would cook every Sunday and help serve the agape meal to everyone. She would ask me, “How is it, Bill?” as she took pride in serving food for those in the church who where always hungry. I would say, “It’s great Mama Coy!” She loved being in the kitchen, preparing food, organizing and made sure everything was perfect before it was served. Every occasion that we celebrated in church, like park picnic and Birthdays, Mama Coy was always present and you could find her in the kitchen. She loved cooking, cleaning and organizing. After the meal Mama Coy would pack for me, some leftover food called “baon” or doggy bag for lunch the next day. She was like that at home also. Any time you visited the Perucho family, she would ask me if I was hungry and prepare something for me if I was. She also ministered to her friends and family that way. My wife Amy and Mama Coy were buddies. They loved to go shopping together and Amy would pick her up and drop her off afterwards. Sometimes she came to our house and cooked with my wife which they both enjoyed and I would be blessed with their food. Mama Coy was like a mother to everyone. Everyone in the church, family and friends loved her and will miss her very much. Thank you.
To Tita Coy’s loving husband, Tito Esing; her dear children, Nang Nance & Nong Jess, Nang Cecille, and Noy Boyen; her grandchildren and all loved ones — we extend our deepest sympathy.
I thank God for the life of Tita Coy. She changed my life when she welcomed me into her home and helped me finish my studies. She loved me as her own child, giving me not just shelter, but guidance, security, and unconditional love.
With wisdom and care — together with the support of Tita Nene Glo Aguirre and Ma’am Ninay Nena Tibor — she redirected my plans and helped shape the path that led me to who I am today. She always saw potential in me, even when I could not see it myself.
Despite my limitations and shortcomings, she never got angry with me. Instead, she patiently guided and encouraged me. Her belief in me gave me the confidence to persevere.
She was always proud and happy for every achievement I reached. Seeing her smile meant everything to me.
Who I am today is deeply shaped by her love and guidance, together with Tito Esing and their children who embraced me as family by ❤️ .Her lessons, kindness, and legacy will live in me forever.
Tita Coy, thank you for loving me and my family, for believing in me, and for shaping my life. We are forever grateful.
May your soul rest in eternal peace.
