Our deepest condolences from Mum and I.
Words can’t truly reflect the sadness on Zia Rosina’s passing. At the same time, I couldn’t be more blessed to have had such incredible aunts. Zia Rosina was courageous and tough as nails but at the same time, soft and generous of heart and spirit. May she rest in eternal peace as she is reunited with Zio Antonio and all our family members in heaven.

She had a rare gift for making everyone feel like family. She loved to socialize with family and friends.
she was my Zia and Godmother of which she reminded me often. After all she did pierce my ears. We will always smile when speaking and remembering of her.

It is with profound grief and sorrow that Sandy’s beloved mother Rosina has left us. She passed away the morning of Friday June 12th in her sleep. My mother-in-law gave me such a memorable impression from the moment I first met her. She was a strong opiniated woman who held her own. She was very welcoming and kind and I admired her spunk and humorous personality. She was funny yet clever with a unique twist on words. She was special. She was always smiling and had just a cheerful spirit. When she spoke and told her stories about Italy, her loving husband, her family, her workplace we listened attentively. The door to her home was always open, meals ready without invitations, her heart, her generosity, her love was always shared with family, friends and neighbours.
Rosina was a wonderful wife to Antonio, a heartfelt loving mother to my husband Sandy and Frances, and the best mother-in-law I could of ever hoped for. She had such a special place in her heart for her grandchildren and great grandchild.
She loved life, the flowers, the animals, gardening, cooking and music. The last five years at the long-term care home were challenging. Her health slowly declined. Thank you to all the caregivers at the Village Of Humber Heights.
Rosina will remain in our hearts forever, she will be missed but never forgotten. May she rest in eternal peace. 🙏 ✝️♥️🕊
Success in life is not measured in how much you acquire, but how much impact you have on others — it is to endure hardship, raise a family, be kind, generous and have the respect of adults and children. To this my nonna not only succeeded, but excelled.
Her home was a wonderful place, always open, often magical, and where all of my firsts were experienced there.
I found tradition and culture, nature and garden, plenty of food, and my first exposure to faith. I was fascinated by all of her old photos, wall fixtures, and religious items. It was a place I got away with all kinds of mischief as a child, spent summers, christmas, Easter, and got my first pet.
If you knew me growing up, chances are you accompanied me for a visit to her home, as I proudly told everyone of her, and she always welcomed anyone I brought.
I was blessed with the honour of spending time with her even in her last days.
My nonna (along with nonno) lived an epic — one which she made everyone: her family, neighbours, and anyone who met her a part of!
Well done, Nonna. Rest easy —- and catch up with everyone. We will see you again!
Much love!
Our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Zia Rosina. I wish I would have made more trips to visit. Seeing Zia was one of the highlights of my trips as a kid. I loved her attitude and how she put these younger Zie, in their place! Love and miss you all!

May God be your source of strength, comfort, and courage during this time.
With deepest sadness, we offer our heartfelt condolences to all of you.
With love,
Steve, Laura, Gabriel, and Nathan Panacci

Thank you. ♥️
Dearest Frances and Sandy,
It is with heartfelt sorrow in the passing of your mother. She was a woman of great strength, determination and compassion. I remember as a child the wonderful Christmas dinners at her house with an abundance of food and a welcoming place for anyone who walked in.
At the college where she worked as a cook, I remember helping her out in the kitchen as a part-time student. When last minute meals had to be prepared on short notice, she would take things so calmly as she enjoyed her work as a cook. Apart from the age difference as my sister-in-law, she was a role model to me I giving me advice in times of confusion and uncertainty. May your mom rest in peace in God’s heavenly kingdom as my prayers are always with her and both your families.
Thank you for your kind tribute on Rosina’s obituary memory board. Your words brought great comfort and warmth to our family.
Sadly we won’t be able to attend on Wednesday as I committed to chaperone Lincoln’s field trip and they’re short chaperones. My heart is with every single one of you today and on Wednesday, of course. I wanted to quickly share one of my favorite Zia memories. I believe it was Deborah’s wedding shower and she’d made a tray of one of her famous cookies and she, with the biggest smile, came and cornered me and asked me to tell her that her cookies were better than my Nonna’s. And we just had this lovely, funny moment. And every time I think of Zia, I just think of her smile, her warmth, and she’s in my heart. You’re all in my heart, and just know I’m there with you on Wednesday in spirit, and I am so sorry for the loss but so grateful for all the memories. I know she is chatting and laughing away with Nonna up in heaven.
So much love from myself, Jamie, Lincoln and Weston

Thank you.
Dear Frances, Frank, Gino and Sandy, Susie, Rosemarie, Anthony, Nigel, Mateo, we are so sorry for your deep loss. Zia Rosina was such a wonderful, kind, generous woman whose home was always open to anyone and there was always plenty of food around. She (and Zio Antonio) had a lush garden, the bounty of which she always shared with others. Zia Rosina was very talented at crochet and would make beautiful blankets, slippers, baby booties, and tablecloths that she would gift family and friends. Zia Rosina loved to have visitors and also loved visiting. Growing up, I remember many large gatherings of family at my Nonna and Nonno’s house, our house in Mississauga, our farm in Meaford, and her house, where she would have trays and trays of food and cookies and many stories to share. One of my fondest memories is watching and listening to Zia Rosina, Zia Nina, and my Nonna Maria sitting at the kitchen table at 198 Westmount Ave. laughing, chatting, and sharing stories. Zia Rosina will be dearly missed. May she be at peace and reunited with all her family and friends in heaven.
With sympathy, Natascha, Jason, Sidney Crispino/Crowder
