elevated 3IJAD After a long battle with COPD on Sunday, April 28, 2019 at Toronto Western Hospital with her family by her side. Survived by her husband Paolo for the last sixty years. Loving mother to Paul and his wife Sharan. Cherished Nonna to Luca, Marco and Matteo. Dear sister to Anna Stefanucci and sister-in-law Sandra and her late husband Antonio Stefanucci. Best friend to Lorenzo Lorenzini.

Dear Paolo,
I first met Rossana and you when we all lived on Dowling Ave. Toronto in 1962. I was a teenager then and you gave me my first job. Our lives took different paths over the many years that passed, but I never forgot the kindness and warmth that Rossana shared with those around her. My heartfelt condolences to you and your family, Paolo. My thoughts are with you at this most difficult time.

I read of your mother’s passing – she certainly sounded like a very lovely and loving person. Our condolences to you and your family at this time of sorrow. I was pleased to see that Dr. Fabio Varlese was caring for her – he was also terrific at caring for my dad during his illness before he passed away.

We were very saddened to hear of the passing of your mother. We shared many memories from the time she arrived in Canada. Camping trips, tennis, New Year’s Eve celebrations and countless dinners together which often involved a nice Spaghetti with Aglio E Olio, no matter the time of night. Rossana always had on a beautiful smile and a warm heart that made everyone feel welcome. She was a beautiful person. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this difficult time.
