Random list that make me smile when thinking about Rui.
My first time getting in a car with Rui driving, and with beads of sweat swearing that I would Never do that again … random memory.
People only understand others from their own level of perception .. random thought.
Rui had a genuinely good heart with a determination to focus on the positive. During life’s bumps on the road, he used that momentary elevation to look higher and see further.
Your life has changed Rui but it did not end. I pray that your spirit is at rest under sunny blue skies until we meet again.
My dearest cousin.. part of me still can’t believe your gone.. your jokes and larger than life personality will leave a big empty spot on our hearts.. you were always a great cousin to me and I appreciate how close we got during this pandemic and our daily chats on Facebook where I would keep you posted on canada stuff and you, me on the state of the Philippines.. inbetween we would laugh at the not so serious stuff and I always enjoyed our back and forth. I know you told me constantly to send Peter to the Phillipines and how he would never come back if he did..lol you were a good guy. Will always be aces in my books cuz. Rest easy till we meet again.
