elevated ysknV It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Sal Richard Liotta on May 13, 2019 at the age of 73. Beloved husband of the late Janis (nee Passarelli). Loving father of Richard, Steve, Jennifer and her husband Kirby Kuindersma. Treasured grandpa of Jack and Ben; Cali and Zach; Eliana and Nathan. Beloved brother of Virginia and the late Mary, Ignatia, Josephine and John. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Sal served in the US Marine Corps, was an Auxiliary Constable for Hamilton-Wentworth Regional Police and a longtime employee of Philips. In retirement, Sal was a volunteer for Victim Services of York Region. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Hospital for Sick Children would be appreciated by the family as your expression of sympathy.
I, with many other people had the pleasure of working with Sal at SCI Corp…we shared many laughs..He will be truly missed..
Ou condolences to Sal’s family. May he Rest In Peace
Our sincere condolences to the Liotta Family on Sal’s passing. When we resided in Markham, we socialized with Janis & Sal, and I played lob ball and golfed with him. He was a fine man and was a joy to be around. He will be sorely missed.
I worked with Sal at Philips in the ’80s and remained friends thereafter. He was a ‘people person’. Always charming and always showed interest in all with whom he dealt. In his last years, despite his own discomfort, he showed interest in all those around him knowing by name and personal history fellow residents and staff in the residence in which he lived. He was a proud father and perhaps, a more proud grandpa. He missed Jan very much so there is peace in knowing he is with his love. He was a good friend and a good man! The world Is a better place for his having been in it! He will be missed.
