It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Salvatore “Sam” Internicola, who passed away peacefully in Bowmanville at the age of 82.
elevated xHw8v Born in Vita, Sicily, Italy, Sam was the beloved son of the late Vito and the late Maria Internicola. He was predeceased by his devoted wife, Tomassa Internicola (née Grutta).
elevated xHw8v Sam was a loving and devoted father to Vito (Corrinne) and Anthony. He was a cherished Nonno to Sal, Joe, Rosie (Andrew), Isabella, and Cecilia, and a proud Bisnonno to Nico and Noah. He will also be lovingly remembered by his brothers, Albert (Debbie) and Tony (Mary), as well as his many nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
elevated xHw8v Sam will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him. His kindness, love for his family, and quiet strength will remain in the hearts of those he leaves behind. His passing leaves a profound emptiness, but his memory will continue to be a source of comfort and inspiration to all who knew him.
elevated xHw8v May his memory be eternal, and may he rest in the peace of God’s loving embrace. If desired donations may be made to Sick Kids Hospital in memory of Sam.

While we had never met Sam, we heard many stories throughout the years of Al‘s family and how Sam was such a good big brother and that Al definitely felt loved. Like Dana, we wish we could be there to give hugs and be of support for you all, but most of all to hear more memories of Sam’s life. We are thinking and praying for you all as your journey down memory lane, and then give your final farewells.
