elevated 9n5Ki It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Salvatore (Toto) Zito, who left us peacefully on Sunday, November 30, 2025, at the age of 76.
elevated 9n5Ki Salvatore is now reunited in heaven with his beloved son Calogero (2022), his parents Maria and Calogero Zito, in laws Toto and Vincenza Santini, his brothers Francesco, Giovanni (Lola), Antonino (Pina), Giuseppe, and brother-in-law Pino as well as the namesake brother he never had the chance to meet.
elevated 9n5Ki He leaves behind his devoted wife of 50 years, Vincenza, and his cherished daughters Enza-Maria (Mimmo) and Cristina (Gustavo). He was the proud and loving Nonno to Lea, Rachel, Andrea, Audrey, Mia, and Max. Salvatore is also survived by his dear sister Cecilia (the late Aristide), his younger brother Guido (Rosa), and his sisters-in-law Armida, Giovanna, Pina (Calogero), Gina (Salvatore), and Lea (Pasquale).
elevated 9n5Ki He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
elevated 9n5Ki Born in Corleone, Palermo, Sicily, Salvatore immigrated to Canada in 1965 as a young teenager in search of new opportunities. Through hard work, resilience, and an open heart, he built a beautiful life rooted in love, family, and tradition.
elevated 9n5Ki Salvatore lived a long and fruitful life. His legacy of kindness, joy, and infectious laughter will continue to shine through the lives of all who knew and loved him.
elevated 9n5Ki May he rest in eternal peace, forever in our hearts.

Dear family of Salvatore,
I am so sorry I was not able to participate in person in the services for Salvatore. I only found out about his passing. He was a wonderful man and the greatest neighbour. I really miss him. God sends many challenges and I know what a great loss this is for Enza ( his beloved wife), his daughters and grandchildren and the many friends. I will forever keep in my thoughts and prayers 🙏🏻
