It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Sami Philip Alam. Beloved husband to Marie Alam (nee Rizk) for 47 Years; compassionate father to Michael, Danny (Laura), Lina (Chris); doting grandfather of Stella, and Harmony; Sami passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 3, 2023, surrounded by his family.
elevated 8HL9j Exceedingly kind and generous, with an “always-on” sense of humour, Sami emanated a love of life that touched the lives of many. He will be terribly missed by all of his friends and family.
elevated 8HL9j The family wishes to thank the incredible physicians, nurses, and staff at Sunnybrook, and Toronto General Hospital, for the life-extending treatments Sami was blessed to receive over the years.
My Brother In Law Sami was a very kind and generous person. He always made it fun to be around him. His presence will be terribly missed by all of us. We’ll miss all the jokes, card games and all the laughs we had together. His love for his family and especially for my sister Marie was immense. He’ll always be in our hearts and our thoughts.

We were deeply saddened to hear of the passing of our friend and neighbour Sam. He will be dearly missed. He was a dedicated family man with a great sense of humor and a love of life. He and Marie always made us feel like family whenever we saw them and of course Sam always made sure we were either eating or drinking. We are extremely honored and blessed to have known him.
Our deepest condolences to Marie, Mike, Danny, Lina and all of his extended family and friends. May God bless and comfort you and may all of your fond memories of Sam ease your pain during this very difficult time in your lives. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
