elevated LnAFk Peacefully passed away on October 19, 2021 at the age of 97. Beloved wife of the late Filiberto, caring and devoted mother of Fernando. Sister to predeceased sisters Ines Gagliardi Granata, Madre Superiore Ada Gagliardi, Rosina Aceti Gagliardi. Beloved daughter of Giuseppi Gagliardi and Carolina Polifonti Gagliardi.
elevated LnAFk Saverina was a beam of loving light to all who made her acquaintance and her welcoming nature will be lovingly remembered in the hearts of many family and friends.
elevated LnAFk In Saverina’s memory donation may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
elevated LnAFk The family will receive friends at the Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home 211 Langstaff Road East (west of Bayview Ave.) from 2:00-4:00pm & 6:00–8:00 pm. on Friday October 22, 2021.
elevated LnAFk At the request of the family, visitors are required to have a double vaccinations to attend visitation and Funeral Mass.
elevated LnAFk A Private Mass of Christian burial will take place within the funeral home in the Chapel of St. Joseph on Saturday October 23, 2021. elevated LnAFk Due to Covid-19 capacity restrictions, friends may have to wait to pay their respects during the visitation period, we are inviting family and friends to a walk-through visitation only to pay their respects, offer condolences and then kindly exit the building to allow for others to enter.

Fernando, your mom was such a beautiful, easy-going and loving person. She loved you so much, My thoughts and heart are with you.. RIP Saverina.
Fernando, even though your Mom was not my direct Aunt, I always considered her to be one.
When our families got together & she was in our presence with your Father, she would always talk to me & I could feel her love. She smiled always & exuded kindness & warmth. Always made you feel welcomed in her space.
I will always remember her. May she R.I.P.

Fernando, Our condolence from me and my wife Marie, sorry that we couldn’t attend the funeral for your Mother , because we were out of the country and just came back this morning at 2:20 am, October 25th. I always remember your mother for her beautiful smile, she may rest in peace.
