elevated ufhqv Obituary
God called Sheila home on December 27 at the age of 74. She is survived by her beloved husband Allen of 44 wonderful years. She was a devoted and loving mother to Sara (Guido) and proud grandmother of Julia and Paul. Sheila was born on November 2, 1949, to William James Spreadbury and Virginia Nicolina Joanilho in Hong Kong. Upon being orphaned at a young age, Sheila eventually moved to England to live with her aunt and cousins. At the age of 21 her independent and ambitious spirit led her to seek out new opportunities in Canada where she met and married the love of her life Allen. Sheila had a passion for travel and enjoyed visiting many countries around the world. She also found great happiness in life’s simple pleasures such as playing cards with her grandchildren, the weekly crosswords, and her favorite mystery series. Sheila fought a noble battle with cancer, never wavering until her last day. Her strength and grace will forever inspire all those who knew her. Our fond memories will be remembered always in our hearts, and we will cherish them dearly.
