The family announces with sorrow the passing of Sheryle Darlene Dixon on May 29, 2025, at the age of 87. She died peacefully in her sleep.

Sheryle was born in Montreal. As a young woman, she worked for Bell Canada as a secretary in an engineering division.Through friends she met Ron Dixon, and in time became a wife and mother. In the early seventies, the family moved from Montreal to Toronto with both husband and wife working for Kings Transfer Van Lines. Eventually Ron and Sheryle bought their own moving company, Lamb Moving and Storage in Richmond Hill, which they ran until their retirement. Sheryle ran the office and had many stories of their adventures. Together they traveled to many United Van Lines conventions where they always looked forwards to seeing old friends.

For many years Sheryle assisted with Shriner events with her husband Ronald in support of children’s hospitals. They ran the Turkey Roll for many years. It was a cause close to her heart.She continued to help Ron sell Shriner raffle tickets every yearup to her passing.

Sheryle loved Christmas and with Ron’s assistance decorated every inch of the house. She loved ornamentation and flowers and her backyard.

Survived by her husband, Ronald Edward Dixon and her son Kevin. The immediate family has chosen to mourn privately. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to any children’s hospitalin her memory.
