It is with deep sorrow and much love that we announce the passing of our beloved Mother and Nonna, Silvana Di Pede on August 21, 2025, at the age of 91.

elevated fKQTI Silvana will be reunited with her loving husband Frank, daughter Toni, parents Antonio and Margherita, and siblings Gemma, Gennaro and Mafalda. Silvana will be remembered by her sister Luisa, cherished children Rose (Steve), Mary and Nick, and son-in-law Elio and her adoring grandchildren and great grandchildren Cristina, Michael (Rachel), Daniel (Meryl), Alex, Roman, Raquel, Michael Jr., Stephen and Luca. She will be dearly missed by many family and friends. 

elevated fKQTI Born in Sora, Italy brought with her a deep love for family, traditions, and hard work when she immigrated to Canada in pursuit of a better life. She, along with Frank, built a home filled with warmth, laughter, and the aroma of her beloved homemade cooking; a home where love was always at the center. 

elevated fKQTI Silvana’s legacy lives on through her family that she cherished above all else. She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
