elevated yCat9 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Antonia Isabelle Solange Samuel (nee Myers).
elevated yCat9 On the 30th day of January, 2026 God called upon Solange suddenly, releasing her beautiful spirit from her ailing body.
elevated yCat9 The youngest daughter of Flora & Francis Myers Sr., Solange married Tyrone Samuel in 1972 and became the beloved Mother of Nathania Marie (Bart) and adored GramGram of Olivia Marie.
elevated yCat9 Sister of Tem Abraham (Son), Curits Myers (Betty), Alvin Myers (Gloria), Keith Myers (Jean), Paul Myers (Maud), Linda Myers-Turner (James), Joan Myers (Gérald), Gene Myers (Joan), and Francis Myers Jr. (Bertie).
elevated yCat9 Lovingly referred to as “TeeTee” by her niece Pet Myers (Dane) and “Auntie Solange” to her additional 26 nieces and nephews.
elevated yCat9 Solange will warmly be remembered for her wit and clever humour, strength, love for her family, and an unwavering adoration of her granddaughter. She will be deeply missed by her extended family and friends throughout Canada, St. Lucia, and the USA.
elevated yCat9 The family of Solange extends their heartfelt appreciation and thanks to the staff and caregivers at William Osler Brampton, notably the Kidney Care Unit, for their dedicated care and support over the years as well as the team that took care of her in her final moment. She has found eternal rest and peace.

Solange was a beautiful second mom to me, growing up as childhood best friends with Nat since birth. She always had a warm smile to greet us, and shared in our laughter. Her warmth was always felt. The world being a better place with her around. She will be missed by all who knew her.
