Born in Lubojno, Macedonia on September 27, 1929 to Naido and Jordana; he had two older sisters: Zorka (Fotevska) and Bozana (Germanska), and a younger brother, Risto.  He married Dobrila (Bubotiovska) in 1953 and they had two daughters Vera (Joe) Cerilli and Elida (Carl) Kafarowski.  

 In the mid 1960’s he came to Canada as a refugee and once settled in Toronto he brought his young family to Canada.  Over the years, in keeping with the assistance he received from family and friends in the Macedonian community, he and Dobrila helped many of their relatives in coming to and settling in Toronto.  

 He had a physical, outdoor job as a carpenter in the construction industry and worked on many high-rise buildings and projects in Toronto including St. Clement of Ohrid Macedonian Church on Overlea Blvd.  

 He had a good, long life and was lucky to have a supportive family throughout. He has been blessed with four wonderful grandchildren: David (Lindsay) Cerilli, Sara (Ian) Duke and Michael and Emma Kafarowski and 2 beautiful great-grandchildren:  Luke and Dana Cerilli.  He will be missed, but remembered.  Rest In Peace Dedo.
