elevated gHmse It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Stanley Namo on June 8, 2021 at the age of 94. Beloved husband of 59 years to Najat Namo, loving father to Mark, Basel and Frida, proud grandfather to Fawaz, Leena, Fadi, Joseph and Jack.
elevated gHmse He was wise, honest and kind. People say he is special and described him as a gentleman because he only said words of value. He sacrificed his own pleasure to make sure that his family is comfortable. His strong faith in God never stopped as he grew older and started forgetting. He suffered for 10 years with hemodialysis but never complained once as he loved life and the people around him too much to give up. He was a man of God, a family man, dedicated and hardworking. His 94 years should be celebrated as he is now in a better place.
elevated gHmse Due to COVID, a private mass and funeral will be held on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at 1:30 PM. If desired, donations can be made to Canadian Kidney Foundation.

I received the news with considerable sadness. I met Stanley Namo in Wales several years ago. It was striking what a gentle and kind demeanour he had. A genuine love and respect for other people. A truly lovely man. RIP.
Allow us to start by offering our deepest condolences to the Namo family on the passing away of Stanley. May the Lord rest his soul in eternal peace and grant his wife, children and grandchildren the patience and courage to go through this difficult time.
We wish to underscore the fact that the passing away of Stanley Namo is not a loss only to his direct and extended family but also to all his friends and acquaintances. We were lucky to have had a few interactions with him during his past few years in Toronto. Once you start chatting with uncle Stanley, you could immediately sense his wisdom and his classy style, which was only indicative to the quality of a fine gentleman he was made of. You wished those conversations never ended once he starts to tell of all the interesting stories about the good old days in Baghdad, his family, his friends, his business and the prevailed sense of trust and solidarity that existed within his community.
And while he might have left in person, his spirit and good memories will live forever. God bless.
Sincerely, Ghada & Zaid Jurji
