elevated R2D2Z Obituary
elevated R2D2Z It is with profound sadness and a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Stanley Victor Caruth on December 25, 2022, while surrounded by his family at Southlake Regional Health Centre. Stanley Victor was born on November 16,1939, in Belfast, Northern Ireland to his parents Stanley and Sarah Caruth (both predeceased). He will be missed by his only sibling, his sister Camille (Jack, predeceased) Stanley is survived by his beloved wife; Elizabeth Caruth (nee. Leinster) and his loving children; Elizabeth (Michael), Michelle (Bill), Jennifer (Dave) and his grandchildren; Sara (Nathan), Andrew, Claire, and Lauren.
elevated R2D2Z Stanley loved his wife Betty, his children, and grandchildren immensely. He thoroughly enjoyed every moment he spent looking after his grandchildren in his retirement years and was proud to announce that it was the “best job he ever had”. Being the caring loving man he was, family, friends and strangers alike, always enjoyed having a conversation with him – especially given his magnificent sense of humour. Stanley’s love of cars was well-known to his family and friends, made ever-more apparent with his first car, a 1956 convertible MG. Stanley had a keen sense of style and could be found always impeccably dressed, whatever the occasion.

Dear Mrs. Caruth, Liz, Michelle and Jennifer, family and extended family: Our deepest condolences on the loss of your beloved husband/father/grandfather. Mr. Caruth was a true gentleman and I was always honoured when he would stop into my office to chat. He will be sorely missed. A prayer that your time of grief is eased by the good memories that you have and share.
Liz & Family We are so sorry for your loss but hope that as time goes by your wonderful memories of him will give you a sense of peace🤗
Stanley you were like my older brother even though you lived so far away I never forgot your wonderful smile. To Betty and family,
all your cousins around the World send their deepest sympathy.
Stanley was my first cousin. His Father and mine were brothers. I last saw him in 2008 in Donaghadee NI when visiting our cousin Barry. Very sad to hear of his passing. I would love to hear from his sister. We live in South Africa
Forgive me. I would also love to hear from Elizabeth to whom we send our love and sympathy. Geoff and Jan Caruth
Like Geoffrey – Dan Caruth my brother and I Lisa Caruth Chapman were Stanley’s first cousins- he was dear funny and kind.
My father John Caruth was the youngest of the Caruth clan and brother to Stanley’s dad…it is with our Deepest Condolences to Elizabeth and the entire family… so sorry for your loss.

Stanley was our Brother- in – law ( John being Elizabeth’s brother)
We shall remember Stanley with love and such happy memories of the Caruth’s visits to us in Scotland and the get togethers in Canada and Florida
R.I.P. Stanley
Hi Betty and family.
I was saddened to hear the news about Stanley. His photo reminded me of how well dressed that era of Caruths were. Stanley’s dad and mine (Sidney; brother) with well displayed handkerchief in the top pocket! The moment also reminded me of the time in June& July 1967 when you acted as wonderful host to me in Toronto.
At moment we are in NZ with greetings from there. First cousin Ricky.
And where shall I look for thee,
When I no longer hear that voice so dear?
Where shall I seek the warmth that love
Made all things found glow bright and clear?
Look not to the heavenly stars,
Nor search the lofty spires, nor bid
The choir sing.
I dwell among the details of our lives
My memory will linger in all the found things.
– Daphne Burton-Gore
All my love and God bless
Betty
Condolences on the passing of a gentleman,
Heartfelt condolences on the passing of a true gentleman.
Dear Jennifer, Michelle and family,
Please accept my deepest condolences for the passing of your father. Although I did not know him, his personality and style come through in his picture and your sincere writeup. He looks to be a fine gentleman, outstanding father and wonderful grandfather that I know will be missed everyday. I know all to well how deep the pain and loss will run through you, it seems immeasurable at times, but I hope you take the time to find comfort in each other.
I only now found this obituary. Stanley was my second cousin – our two fathers were first cousins and my grandmother, Elizabeth Ann Black Car(r)uth, was Samuel Car(r)uth’s sister. Please accept my sincere condolences for the loss of your father and grandfather.
