elevated 8BHYq Obituary

elevated 8BHYq It is with heavy hearts and a profound sense of loss that we announce the passing of Stefano (Steve) Morello. With his family by his side, God peacefully called Stefano home on August 28, 2026, at the age of 73.  He will be forever cherished by the love of his life, Rosanna, with whom he shared 48 wonderful years; treasured by his dear children Franco (Antonella), Anthony (Julia), and David (Alia); and adored as a loving and proud nonno to Audrina, Paolo, Amedeo, and Alessio who he fondly had special nick-names for.

elevated 8BHYq The youngest of three boys, Stefano was born in Ribera, Sicily to the late Francesco and Caterina. He is joyfully reunited in Heaven with his parents and his in-laws, Antonio and Gina Randazzo, whom he had the utmost love and respect for. He will always be held dear by his siblings, Rosario (Paolina) and Giuseppe (Lucy); his brother-in-law, Tony (Grace); his nieces and nephews, Frank, Daniel, Tina, Silvana, Rossi, Alessandra, Milena, and Sabrina; and his extended family and many friends, with whom he shared much laughter and many precious memories.

elevated 8BHYq Next to his family, Stefano’s greatest passion was cars. Over the course of 60 years, he worked as a highly-skilled mechanic and took tremendous pride in his work. His extraordinary talent and work ethic beginning from childhood garnered the respect and loyalty of the many customers, from near and far, that visited his shop. While he loved driving his cars, Stefano thoroughly enjoyed repairing them too; he did so in such a quick manner earning his name, “Speedy Stevey.”

elevated 8BHYq In the moments between his work, Stefano showed a profound love for those around him, especially his family. A child-at-heart, his corky wit and fun-loving spontaneity was hard to miss! He never skipped a beat when it came to including everyone, and he had a remarkable way about him that made everyone feel deeply loved and valued. His love, thoughtfulness, kindness and generosity were unconditional and boundless.

elevated 8BHYq Stefano lived with Parkinson’s Disease for 26 years, never once allowing it to limit him in any way, and serving as a testament to the way he lived his life: with unwavering faith, quiet grace, and sheer strength and determination.

elevated 8BHYq The memory of Stefano’s extraordinary spirit and zeal for life are a reminder for those he leaves behind: get in gear, face challenges head-on and embrace life’s journey wherever it may lead.

elevated 8BHYq His legacy of love will be forever etched into the minds and hearts of those fortunate to have known him. He was an exemplary model of love, and the lives of those around him are all the richer for it and their hearts-full of gratitude.

elevated 8BHYq We love you Stefano. May you rest in eternal peace in His presence.
