Passed away tragically in Ghana, Africa. He was the beloved son of the late Mary and John Petko. Stephen will be lovingly remembered by siblings Frank (Susan) , Elizabeth, John (Faustina) and Jacqueline and their families, as well as by relatives and friends in Toronto, Mississauga, Welland and in Africa. Having worked for Canadian Airlines and Air Canada, he had a love for aviation, travelling and building model airplanes. He also enjoyed mountain biking . He cycled to the top of Mt. Kilimanjaro on March 29, 1987 and achieved highest altitude cycled world record. To relax Stephen loved to listen to the Rolling Stones.
