He will be deeply missed by his 18 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. Stephen was a teacher, an artist and a consummate family man. He emigrated from Hungary in 1950 to make Canada his home, where he and Klara raised their five children. Stephen retired from his illustrious teaching career with the York Region District School Board as Superintendent of Education in 1986. Stephen then rekindled his love for art and created many beautiful sculptures in wood, bronze, and marble. His art is treasured by his family. Stephen loved his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren without waiver. Even in his last days, a video of a great grandchild would bring a smile to his face. Rest in Peace beloved Papa. We will truly miss you.
