elevated YaUKS
It is with profound sadness we announce that Suzanne Irene D’Sa passed away peacefully at home in Mississauga surrounded by family on May 31st 2020 at the age of 77, after a short battle with cancer.
elevated YaUKS She is lovingly remembered by her husband Michael; her children, Nigel, Ian, and Keith (Sue); her grandchildren, Jada and Marlon; and her siblings, Tony (Cheryl), Celine (Tom), and Oscar (Rita); as well as her many relatives and friends.
elevated YaUKS She was preceded in death by her brothers Arnold and Joseph, her mother Belmira, and her father Jasso.
elevated YaUKS Suzanne was born on September 18th, 1942 in Bombay, India. She graduated from Canossa Convent High School in Mahim and went on to attend Sophia College For Women. She worked at the U.S. Consulate General until she met and married the love of her life Michael, in 1970. She joined him in London, England where they welcomed their three sons before emigrating to Canada in 1978. They have since lived in Mississauga, celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary just a month before her passing.
elevated YaUKS Suzanne loved music and art, and encouraged her children and grandchildren to learn and appreciate both from a young age. She was a devoted follower of faith, and a leader in her religious community, organizing pilgrimages to holy sites around the world for over two decades. She cared deeply for her family and friends, always making time to help guide others in spirituality and health. We will miss her passion to nurture, her fun-loving essence, and most of all her warm, sincere smile. She is loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.
elevated YaUKS It is with heavy hearts that our family has made the difficult decision to hold a private funeral with our immediate family, to honour Suzanne. Due to the COVID-19 government restrictions on public gatherings only immediate family are able to attend the funeral service.
elevated YaUKS Sending your love and support at this time is very much appreciated, and we welcome your messages of condolence. However, we do not want anyone to put their health and safety at risk. Memorial donations in her name can be made to The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation.

My sincere condolences to the D’sa family.
Ms. Suzanne was my class teacher in first grade at St. Michael’s high School, Mahim way back in 1963-64. Though I never had the opportunity to meet her during all these years in Canada, I have fond memories of her as my class teacher. Her kind hearted nature and smile will always be fresh in my memory.
Rest in Peace, Miss Susanne. You will be missed but never forgotten by me and your students from St. Michael .
I pray that the D’sa family find comfort in the thought that Ms. Suzanne has moved on to a better placed in the company of God and his Angels.
We are all so sorry to hear of Aunt Suzy’s departure. I remember aunt Suzy back from childhood in England where she and uncle Michael always made us welcome and afterwards in Canada. She touched our lives in many ways too numerous to mention. I know she is with God in paradise.

Until we meet again my dearest Suzanne .. keep us in your prayers like you always do.. watch over us just the way you have always cared, remember us when you meet with Jesus and know that we love you dearly and deeply … until then my dearest Suzanne .. you will always be in my heart

Dearest Suzanne,
Been a great blessing and privilege to know you. Your cheerful smile and generous spirit freely given to all. You led us on many pilgrimages visiting shrines, we shared stories, laughter, endless rosaries and chaplets.
Precious memories and lifelong friends were made on those trips. Learnt a lot from you about our faith, staying strong on the narrow path. You were always there for me over the years through my trials. You had a pure deep faith and loved Our Lord and Mama Mary passionately.
Many years ago…you told us…churches will be shut… can’t attend mass, can’t go to confession….can’t travel… didn’t understand you then. It was a cliche when you said at every pilgrimage….”this might be the last”.
Well now, my dearest friend, you have completed the final pilgrimage.
You got us into the Precious Blood Devotion, encouraged us to be faithful to it and promoted this with all your strength. You worked tirelessly in the Lord’s vineyard. Now you reap the eternal Reward.
2 Tim 4:7 “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept my Faith”
Jesus and Mama Mary welcome you with loving arms and you are in the company of the Angels and Saints.
Miss you very dearly and there will always be a special place in my heart for you.
Thank you, Suzanne for your warmth towards my mum, my sister and family. Please intercede for all of us in Heaven, I know you will still be ‘working’ up there.
My deepest condolences to Mike, Nigel, Ian, Keith, Sue, Jada and Marlon.
Love, Marilyn & family.
To all the D’Sa family, I’m so sorry for your loss and please accept my deepest sympathy.
Dear Ian it’s not easy to lose any family member, but when it’s your mother, it somehow hurts more. She is at peace now and no longer in pain . Your mother raised her children well. I remember when Mr. Bowman passed away, you privately offered your condolences and gave me a beautiful bouquet of yellow roses. That’s the sign of a child raised with love and respect for themselves and others and that’s the best thing any parent can do. I’ll keep your mother in my heart. Take care and be safe.
Rosemarie
Suzanne was a treasured friend and a beautiful soul. I will miss saying the rosary with her. All my prayers and best wishes to her family.

Suzanne was a fearless prayer warrior who touched our lives prayerfully. From her dying bed, she reached out bravely, almost daily, and promised to always be present spirituality. Her faithful friendship of forty years will be greatly missed. Her faith, always an inspiration. I believe in present-day Saints, ‘Suzy’ was one of them! Her love continues in our hearts. “Job well Done Good and Faithful Servant of God, Rest in the Arms of Jesus!”
