Peacefully passed away on January 16, 2025, at Mackenzie Health Hospital with family by her side.
The loving daughter of the late Domenico Luisi and Maria Poveromo. Devoted sister of late Maria (late Giuseppe), late Antoniette (late Rocco), late Grazia (late Domenico), late Franca (Stefano), Caroline (late Tony), Cecilia (Vito), Rocco (Rosa), Stella (Joseph). Teresa will forever be remembered by her many nieces, nephews, and friends here in Canada, United States and Italy.
Teresa was born on September 19, 1937, in Toritto, Bari, Italy. A devout loving and faithful woman, she was truly a servant of God. She was faithful to her church community by ministering and volunteering in many ways. Throughout her life, Teresa drew strength from her faith. Her unwavering belief in God was a constant source of comfort and guidance for her, and it was truly inspiring to witness the strength and peace that this belief brought her. Teresa will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Though she may no longer be with us, her spirit will continue to guide us in our own lives, and her memory will always be cherished.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the Family at Holy Cross Funeral home on Thursday January 23,2025, from 2:00pm to 4:00pm or 6:00pm to 8:00pm. A Mass will be celebrated in the Chapel of St Joseph at the Funeral Home on Friday January 24, 2025, at 12:00pm. Entombment to follow.
