elevated Ad0HC Obituary

elevated Ad0HC Teresa Mancini (née Locicero)
May 29, 1950-October 19, 2024

elevated Ad0HC Teresa was married  for forty loving years to Nick (deceased, 2007) and together they raised their three cherished boys: Pat – Michael and Frank whose death from heart failure in 2017 was devastating, but would not destroy her as she carried on nurturing her loved ones. Teresa was the feisty, funny and dedicated daughter of Maria and Frank Locicero (deceased) and they adored her beyond measure.

elevated Ad0HC Joy for Teresa was embodied in the birth of each of her six grandchildren: Carmen and Nicolas Mancini; Giordano and Matteo Mancini and Leila and Ava Mancini. She was their most enthusiastic cheerleader, sharing endless (and often highly detailed) stories of their feats with anyone who would listen.

elevated Ad0HC She was loved by her siblings with whom she shared trials, tribulations and many, many joys and milestones. Teresa served as a mini-mom to her sister Elisabeth (Diego) and, in time, they delighted in raising and guiding their motley crew of children. Sadly, Teresa suffered the loss of her treasured brother, Ben (Dolores), her partner in crime, Mary (Peter) and her endearing brother Fred.

elevated Ad0HC The Locicero siblings produced an additional eleven nephews and nieces: Susan, Maria and Brigitte Locicero; Rosie, Franca, Angela and Daniela Iantorno; Chistopher Locicero; and Daniel, Michael and Alysia Silla.

elevated Ad0HC Family was everything to Teresa, and she showed her love through her renowned homemade Italian cooking and baking, and by always celebrating special moments in the lives of her children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

elevated Ad0HC She also had a passion for oldies music, often singing along for car rides – making such a drab activity the highlight of one’s day. Family gatherings were incomplete without Teresa’s warm presence, her delicious food, and her trademark full-belly laughter.

elevated Ad0HC Teresa suffered with heart failure through much of her life. Who would have guessed that a weak heart could love so strongly? Our beloved Teresa will be missed and mourned for a lifetime.
