elevated OgQ1B Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Teresa Sophia Hajdasz, who passed away on September 13, 2025 following an unexpected cancer diagnosis four weeks prior. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 50 years, Edward; her children Joseph (Melissa), Peter (Tanja) and Dianne (James); grandchildren Liam, Luna, Charlotte and Henry; sister Jennifer (Ted) and brother John (Wanda). Teresa was the heart and soul of her family and was proof of how wonderful and selfless a mother and grandmother could be. She was gifted with an ability to welcome conversations and trust in everyone she met. She had a love of dance and music, whether it be dancing in the kitchen with her children and grandchildren or winning prizes on her local radio station from music trivia. If you had the pleasure of meeting her, you would never forget her kind soul and lively personality, and her nurturing advice on healthy living and caring for children. The world will have a void without her, but her love will remain in all our hearts forever and always.

Dear Ed, Joe, Melissa, Peter, Tanja, Dianne, James, and all of Teresa’s family,
We are shocked and deeply saddened to learn of Teresa’s passing. Our hearts are heavy as we think of you all during this incredibly difficult time.
We have such wonderful memories of being around Teresa and how much we enjoyed our conversations with her on so many different and engaging topics. Her thoughtful nature always shone through, and we truly appreciated how she welcomed us with such warmth.
What touched us most was how Teresa always treated our daughter Mila like one of her own grandchildren. Her loving and nurturing spirit extended beyond her own family, and Mila felt so special in her presence. This speaks to the incredible woman Teresa was – someone who had room in her heart for everyone.
Please know that we are here to support you all in any way we can during this difficult time. Teresa’s beautiful spirit and the love she shared will never be forgotten.
With our deepest sympathy and love,
Maja and Rolando
Dear Ed and family,
I was so sorry to hear of Teresa’s passing, and I want to extend my deepest condolences. You built a wonderful life together, enriched by the years you shared. Although I never had the chance to meet Teresa, it was clear from the many stories you told- about your kids, travels and your life together-that you shared a truly special bond. Those memories remain a testament to your love and devotion. Though words can do little to ease the pain, I hope you find comfort in reflecting on the beautiful life you built together and in knowing that her spirit lives on in the hearts of all who loved her. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this very difficult time.
So sorry for your loss
