elevated CD3RC Peacefully passed away at Sunnybrook Hospital on January 17, 2021 at the age of 84. She would have been 85 on January 21^st! She bravely and stubbornly battled cancer, but it got the best of her. Originally born in a small village in Hungary in 1936 to her father Ferenc and mother Margit, she bravely escaped war in her homeland and fled to Austria in 1956. She met her late husband Frank in a refugee camp there. They married and risked it all for a new life in Canada .A few days later, their late son Frank Jr was born. Typical immigrant story, they struggled for everything and made a good life for themselves and their younger son Christopher. She was always giving and often showed her love through her amazing cooking and baking skills. She loved dressing well, gardening and socializing with friends at Hungarian dances. Theresa will be reunited in Heaven with her son Frank, parents and sister Magda. She was a doting Gramma to 9 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, cherished sister to Margit and a proud mother-in-law to Chris’ wife Nuria. Theresa will be lovingly remembered in the hearts of many family, friends and neighbours. RIP Anyukam. If desired donations, to the Sunnybrook Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
