elevated ODhXI Obituary
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Theresa Mehler, on Sunday, February 15, 2026, at the age of 99. Surrounded in the loving arms of her family, Theresa passed away peacefully.
elevated ODhXI Family was always the greatest priority and the centre of her life. She found her greatest joy in caring for those she loved and in keeping her family close. She was the devoted wife of the late Anton Mehler, with whom she shared 30 years of marriage. A loving mother, she will be dearly missed by her children Frank and John.
elevated ODhXI Theresa was a cherished grandmother to Kristain Anton and Katarina Theresa and proud great grandmother to Carson and Oaklynn. Her love for her family knew no bounds, and her legacy will live on through the generations she so tenderly nurtured.
elevated ODhXI Born in her beloved Ruma, Yugoslavia, she immigrated to Canada in 1955 to build a better life with her husband and create a home where her family could grow and flourish. Her life was dedicated to caring for others. A devoted homemaker, she poured her heart into raising her two children, and later spent many years lovingly babysitting her grandchildren and spending happy times with great-grandchildren, who adored her.
elevated ODhXI Her passions were simple, but very meaningful. She found so much joy in cooking meals for her family, tending to her garden, and keeping an immaculate house. Special holiday gatherings were reflected in her warm and joyful personality.
elevated ODhXI A kind and generous soul who always put family first, she possessed an incredible work ethic, keeping her home spotless inside and out. She was passionate about her garden, lovingly tending it to grow fresh ingredients for the delicious home-cooked meals she prepared with such care and affection that brought everyone together and created countless memories around the table. Her siblings would often make pit stops at Theresa’s on the way home to grab a bite to eat. That’s because no one ever went hungry at her house—nor could anyone leave without leftovers to bring home.
elevated ODhXI She will be remembered for her nurturing heart, her quiet strength, and the warmth she brought into every room. Her legacy lives on in the generations she guided, the traditions she passed down, and the love she gave so freely.

Our friendly neighbour will be very missed. She always took care of us when we were kids, like looking after the pet fish, babysitting us, and whenever I see bugles (chips) I think of her cause she used to give them to us when we were over playing with Kristian and Katt. Rest In Peace, Theresa. Condolences to all the family and sending thoughts and prayers <3
