With the deepest sadness, we announce the passing of our dear father, Thomas McDonald, in Newmarket at the age of 86.
elevated LIboJ Thomas was born in Glasgow, Scotland, to Joseph and Annie McDonald (née Douglas).
elevated LIboJ He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Mary McDonald (née O’Dea), in 2013. He was a loving father to Peter McDonald (Beverley Law) and Martin McDonald (Tina), and a cherished grandpa to Thomas and Elisabeth. Thomas was the dear brother of Catherine Johns and a much-loved uncle to many nieces and nephews.
elevated LIboJ Thomas’s life was defined by his love for his family, many friends, and countless people he touched. Thomas brought smiles, laughter, and inspiration to all who knew him. His strong faith in the Lord provided strength and courage to those around him.
elevated LIboJ He will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by all. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Thomas’s memory to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
