elevated et8dc It is with deeply saddened hearts that we announce the passing of Tindara Lombardo on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at the age of 85. Tindara was born on September 8, 1940, in Barcellona Pozzo di Gotto, Sicily.
elevated et8dc She is predeceased by her loving husband of 65 years, Salvatore (2025). She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Sandy (Susana) and Maria (Vittorio); her cherished grandchildren, Christian, Olivia, Luca, Sophia, and Breanna; her devoted sisters, Santa, Grazia, and Peppina; and her sister-in-law, Francesca.
elevated et8dc In 1961, at just 21, Tindara courageously immigrated to Canada with her husband Salvatore, joyfully reuniting with her two beloved sisters. With determination, love, and perseverance, they built a life together filled with hard work, devotion to family, and countless treasured memories.
elevated et8dc Her greatest joy was her children and grandchildren, for whom she would do anything. As a devoted Nonna, she nurtured them with unwavering love, guided them with gentle wisdom, and celebrated every milestone, every laugh, and every shared moment.
elevated et8dc Tindara’s love extended to the kitchen, where she expressed her care and pride through Italian cooking and baking. Every meal she prepared was a labor of love, rich in tradition, presented with care, and made every family gathering a truly special occasion.
elevated et8dc She will be remembered for her quiet devotion, her warmth, and the love she poured into her family and friends. Tindara’s legacy of love, family, and cherished traditions will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
elevated et8dc As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in memory of Tindara Lombardo.
