elevated YNd8S Zdravko passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s hospital on October 3rd, 2021 at the age of 84. Devoted husband to his late wife Antonia. Loving father to his sons Adrian (Antonella) and Brian. Proud grandfather of Marcus. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

The family will receive friends at Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home on Thursday October 7th, 2021 from 4pm – 8pm. The funeral and reception on the following day will be a private family event.

To all my condolences. Zdravko was a wonderful man, full of compassion and wisdom but mostly he had a wonderful heart full of caring and support. As my godfather he did so much to steer me in the right direction when I was a teenager, he helped me with my first summer job, he was always checking on how I was doing and always provided much needed guidance during those formative years. There was a sense of directness on the exterior but you knew underneath there was a kindness and caring that came through over and over again. As time has ticked away, the sense and feeling of having him by my side never left regardless where my travels took me around the world. That indescribable feeling of closeness many times provided comfort in my thoughts and gave me strength when most needed. Over the years I let time slip by but I feel fortunate to have been able to meet up again this past August. In those few hours the sense of family came rushing back and I could not have been happier to see that time apparently had stood still, he was the person I had always known. He will always be remembered and I will always cherish the memories. To Brian and Adrian he will always be a part of you and your memories of him will continue to shape your days forward.

Deepest sympathy on the loss of your beloved father. We at “SImon Gregorcic” all loved him. He was a pillar to our community. In his caring ways, he was constantly working and serving the people. He always made time talk to people no matter what he was doing.. Zdravko will truly be missed. We will cherish the memories and continue with good deeds in honour of him. Zdravko may you rest eternally in peace with the angels.

Zravko was a good friend for many years. Many Sundays were spent together at the Simon Gregorcic farm. We will miss him very much.
