Loving mother to Courtney (Samuel), Alexander, Nicholas and Joshua. Adored daughter to John and Ruth DePledge and cherished sister to Robert and Jacqui (Scott). Valerie will be loving remembered in the hearts of many family and friends. If desired, donations to CAMH would be appreciated.

This still seems unreal to Nicholas and I. You were just like a mom to me. you always said “ you’re the daughter in law I always wanted & always talked about the million things we were going to do together. & you took me in as your own & I can not thank you enough. I will forever remember the endless facetime’s, phone calls, and the endless laughs and smiles. The good morning & goodnight texts. You are such an amazing, beautiful & strong women. I am so sorry you went before your time. It was way too early. “ familia” is what you always told me & I promised I would protect Nicholas, ride or die for him & love him the most. I promise Nicholas and I will keep your memory alive forever. Nicholas and I miss you momma beyond words can explain. Until we meet again❤️ Love always, Nicholas & robbie.
