elevated gokvQ Heaven took another angel back all too soon. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Vanessa Ann Di Pasquale (nee Benedek). Vanessa passed away peacefully at home with family by her side after a long and valiant battle with cancer at the age of 33. Adoring wife and mother to Michael and Sophia. Loving daughter to Samuel and Ann Benedek, baby sister to Mark (Jennifer) and Sam (Beth), and Zia to Sammy Jr., Ethan, Jessica, and Ryan. Vanessa was loved by many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Vanessa’s contagious smile, compassionate and caring personality positively impacted so many throughout her rich albeit short time with us. Vanessa took great pride in being a thoughtful and supportive teacher to her students. She was admired and loved by so many friends. Her legacy will live forever by how she showed us what it means to truly live a life full of love. Vanessa’s life may have changed, but it has not ended. Vanessa’s unforgettable to many. There is not an hour that goes by or a night that I don’t dream of her. I see Vanessa in Sophia. This plus the memories I have of us gives me some comfort. It just doesn’t seem like it is, or will ever be enough… Until we meet again.
I have recently found out about Vanessa’s passing and wanted to give my sincerest condolences. I volunteered in her classroom back in 2015 and shared many laughs as she helped me on my journey. She was a kind-hearted person who always made me feel so welcomed in her classroom.
