With hearts both heavy and full of love, we share the passing of Vanessa Maria Mancuso on April 29, 2026, at Mount Sinai Hospital. After a brave and inspiring battle with breast cancer, she left us at the age of 37, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved daughter of Silvana and Leonardo. Loving wife of Spencer. Dear sister of Giancarlo and Daniela. Cherished Zia to Leo and Luca. Adored daughter-in-law to Wendy Williamson and sister-in-law to Micheal and Gordon. Vanessa will be deeply missed and forever held dear in the hearts of her many extended family and friends. She will be lovingly remembered and never forgotten.
elevated nUXEn Vanessa was a soul as artistic as she was generous, a woman whose creativity and warmth touched everyone she met. A talented graphic designer, she brought beauty and imagination into the world through her work. Music was her lifeblood. She played the piano with a passion that could fill a room and spoke to hearts in ways words never could. She had an innate ability to care deeply, always lifting others, often represented by the delicate symbol of a butterfly, moving through life with grace.

My condolences to Spencer and the Mancuso and Williamson families. I’m so grateful to have got to know Vanessa through work. She was a talented graphic designer and a warm and caring friend. We are a close knit team and we will all miss her very much.

Our families grew up together, and we had the privilege of watching Vanessa blossom into a beautiful and extraordinary young woman. I had the honour of not only of watching her grow up, but also of working alongside her. She was funny, talented, and such a perfectionist in the very best way.
Vanessa never allowed her illness to define her. Instead, she chose to live a life centered around her passions, her journey, and all that she loved.
While we will miss her immensely, we will always admire the way she chose to live her life and all that she accomplished.

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Mancuso, no parent should have to bury their child, and I am so sorry that you are experiencing this tragic outcome. From my interactions with Vanessa, it was obvious that she had a loving family and a great upbringing, and it comforts one to know that, of the short time Vanessa had on this earth, that she experienced that to the fullest extent.
Dear Spencer, Vanessa is the love of your life, and she made you a better man. I will always remember the night we’ve all had together at Allen’s Restaurant and the retro arcade. My thoughts and prayers are with you in this difficult hour.

Silvana and Leonardo, Giancarlo and Daniela, Spencer – Jim reached out to me the other day to tell me about Vanessa’s passing, and while it has been a while since I have see you all, my heart has been heavy since.
I have a memory that always makes me smile, of one Christmas when I was visiting from wherever I was living – and all the ‘grown up’ cousins (including my mom!) were sitting around a table playing Pictionary, or something, having a blast.
All the while, Vanessa and the ‘younger’ generation were running around, laughing, singing, bugging their parents, having a blast with each other.
I recall thinking that they were acting JUST LIKE US when we were their age, and how lovely it was to see generations of a family be together. And Vanessa is at the centre of that gift of a memory 🥰

I am shattered by the news and feel so awful to be here today writing this yet I am because I don’t know how to send out my heart felt condolences except here. Vanessa was the truest friend with a heart so big. While life pulled us apart she was the only one I remained in connection with through social media. I love her so much and wish I could have had more Time with her here on earth.
