elevated 5ytC9 Veida Cynthia Watson (Mummy) passed away on October 25, 2022 at the far too young age of 89. Veida is predeceased by my grandparents Reuben and Frances and my Aunts Delsie and Joyce. She is survived by me (Robin, daughter), grandson Jamal, her sisters Theresa and Patricia, several loving nieces and nephews who she doted on, and many loving friends. Mummy not only brought joy to her family and neighbours but all who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be deeply missed.

Sending you our deepest condolences. She was not only a neighbour to us, but more like a bonus mom and grandmother. Just like she always said – we were family, not neighbours. Ms. Watson will be missed greatly, but she will be forever remembered with each fresh blade of grass and every bite of rum cake.
The world lost an angel on earth.
Nicest person, and matriarch of the neighbourhood.
Her garden isn’t the same without her, either.
