My husban and I remember victor we used to call him the bird man because of his birds. He did such amazing wood work. He’s sense of humor was always making me laugh. I bought my first cocketail bird from him in 2003 and then i went back to buy another bird for my brother. I also bought another bird from him for my mother. I will miss him terribly buy now i have his son and daughter in law to help me. I wanted so much to see him one more time to tell him how the birds are doing. I will miss him. God bless him and protect his family.
Thank-you so much for your kind message and condolences. He was well-known at the Market and always gave off a jovial vibe, unless he was having a bad day :). He will be remembered by many of the patrons of that flea market as a man of simplicity and warmth. We have arranged to have a memorial photo of him there which might be erected next time you visit. Yes, for now my brother and his wife are continuing the tradition of my dad, and going to the market in his stead. May God bless you both and thanks for your kind words about my father. Fr Pierre Farrugia ofm.
Thank-you Marisa! We truly appreciate your kindness. Hope to see you this summer. Fr P.
Marisa, thanks again for your prayers and support. Look forward to seeing you this summer perhaps at some point.
Fr Pierre
No family gathering was complete without one of his stories — you always knew you were in for a laugh. He had a way of bringing people together, filling the room with warmth, humour, and the feeling that family truly mattered.
What I will remember most is his loving devotion to my grandmother. Their 63 years of marriage were a beautiful testament to love, commitment, and faith. The life they built together is a shining example for me and for all of us, and something I will cherish forever.
While our hearts are heavy, we take comfort in our faith and in knowing he is now at peace in God’s loving arms.
Rest in peace, Grandpa Vic. You will always be loved and never forgotten.
Father Pierre, you are a rock in many foundations, of the many people’s lives you have touched, mine included. I send this message with all of my hugs and empathy to you and family, as I know these are hard days, certainly your faith will get you through this difficult time! Please remember to take a comment to critically reflect on brighter days with your dear DADDY and all he gave to you —- the sun shines in heaven and he is there now —- our ultimate goal is to get to heaven and he has achieved that —- you will see him again Father !!
Much love !
