It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Vincent De Melo on Tuesday, October 28th, 2025, at the age of 54.
elevated 391dr Vincent was born on January 22, 1971, in Toronto, ON, to Idalina and Noê De Melo. He grew up in Brampton, ON, where he met his beautiful wife, Elisabeth.
elevated 391dr In 1994, Vince married his wife Elisabeth, his devoted partner for 31 years. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter and countless memories. He was a proud and loving father to Nicole, Noah, and Matthew and cherished his children’s spouses, Josh and Kayla, as part of the family. Vince was overjoyed to welcome his new granddaughter, Peyton, who brought a bright spark of happiness into his life.
elevated 391dr Vince began his career in the electrical field. Over the years, he worked at Worldwide Electric, earning a reputation for his work ethic, leadership and dependability. He was proud of his work as an operations manager. His colleagues respected him not only for his skills but also for his humility and integrity.
elevated 391dr Outside of work, Vince’s passions brought him endless happiness from watching Formula One races and cheering for his favorite hockey team, the Toronto Maple Leafs, to following the New England Patriots and Tom Brady through every season. When he wasn’t enjoying sports, he could often be found in his garage working on and maintaining his beloved Corvettes, a pastime that reflected his patience and attention to detail. He also enjoyed spending time in his garden, nurturing it with the same care and dedication he showed in every part of his life.
elevated 391dr Vince is survived by his loving wife, Elisabeth; his cherished children, Nicole, Noah and Matthew; his daughter-in-law, Kayla, and son-in-law, Josh; and his beloved granddaughter, Peyton. He is also survived by his devoted mother, Idalina, and his stepfather, Manuel. Vince was preceded in death by his father, Noê.
elevated 391dr Vince’s strength, love, and humor will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. His legacy is one of kindness, family, and faith, and his memory will continue to guide us every day.

Randy & Janice were ex-neighours for many years while they lived in Brampton.! We have so many fond memories of the family & Vince was always helping us out as we both aged. We all had some laughs & good times. He took so much pride in his house in Brampton, and missed him & family when they moved. We were very shocked & saddened by this news. We never thought that would ever happen to Vince at such a young age. Wishing the family & extended family many warm wishes and sincere condolences at this time !
Vince was a very hard worker, kind and would do anything for other people. We miss you – RIP.
