It is with profound sadness the family announces the passing of Vince Commisso on October 22 2026. Beloved husband to Lina Commisso. Born in Siderno Reggio Calabria to Franceso & Angela Commisso. He is survived by Angie (Rob), Frank (Natalie), Cosimo (Antonella), Luisa (Ron), Nancy (Alfredo), his 13 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren as well as many extended relatives in Canada and Italy. Vincenzo will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.

Nonno Vince,
Words can never truly express the sadness of saying goodbye to someone so special. You were more than a Nonno to us; you were the heart of our family, a source of love, wisdom, and strength. Your presence brought us comfort, your love brought us together, and the memories we shared will forever hold a special place in our hearts.
Although we must now say goodbye, the lessons you taught us, the traditions you passed down, and the love you gave so freely will live on through the generations of our family. You leave behind a legacy that can never be forgotten and a piece of your heart in everyone who had the privilege of knowing and loving you.
You will be missed more than words can ever say, loved beyond measure, and remembered always. Until we meet again, you will forever remain in our hearts. Rest Peacefully Nonno ❤️
Our Deepest Condolences to the Commisso Family. May he rest in the arms of the Angels and in the hands of God.
Thinking of all of you in this difficult time.
To the Commisso Family,
Sending you all our heartfelt condolences during this difficult time. May the love and memories you shared bring you comfort and strength
Nonno,
I don’t know if I’ll ever find the words to truly express how much you mean to me and how special you will always be to me. It hurts knowing I have to say goodbye, and I wish more than anything that I could have more time with you. I will always be grateful for the time we shared, and I will cherish those memories for the rest of my life.
You will always be so much more than just my Nonno. You are someone I will carry with me forever, and no matter how much time passes, nothing will ever change how much I love you. It’s hard to imagine our family without you, but I know a piece of you will always live on in all of us.
I hope you know just how loved you are and how deeply you will be missed. I love you more than words could ever explain, Nonno. You will forever be in my heart, and I can’t wait to see you again. ❤️
My sincere condolences to the entire Commisso family! Vince was a kind, gentle man who I was lucky enough to meet when I was just 10 yrs old! He always welcomed me with a smile.
God blessed him with a loving wife and wonderful children with families of their own now.
RIP Mr. Commisso
God gained an angel.
Nonno❤️
There are not enough words to express how much we are missing you right now and how much we will miss you forever.
We will always remember dancing around your dining table, making you laugh and taking walks with you while you talk about memories in Italy. The birthdays you celebrated with us and every moment we spent together with the family. We are forever thankful and grateful for you.
You have taught everyone the biggest lessons and you are the strongest in the entire universe. You will forever and always be in our hearts.
Rest peacefully Nonno, we love you so much❤️
Nonno,
You were a very special person to me. You provided so much love, comfort and peace to me & all those around you. Your sense of humour was my favourite part about you, and all the little funny nicknames you had for the grandkids. One of my favourite memories I have of you is when you were picking Claire, Robert and I up from school and you would be blasting your Italian music, and you didn’t have a care in the world. That is what I admired the most about you, the simple things made you happy. I am so grateful for the time and the memories we shared, including some memorable trips to Florida. But the best times were the family dinners, birthdays, holidays where we all shared love & laughter with one another, and you were the centre of it all. What I would do to go back in time and re live those memories with you one more time.
I will forever cherish the 29 years we had together and always hold them close to my heart. You will always be a special part of me Nonno, I love you so much, forever & always. May you rest in eternal peace ❤️
Going to miss you Nonno. Will always remember and cherish your memory. You were such an important part of everyone’s lives, and the beginning of it all for the family lineage. Even though you are gone, you will always be in the back of our minds and hearts.
Love you Nonno.
