Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Vincenzo Iafrate. He will be forever missed by his adoring wife Antonietta and his children Elsa, Stella (Robert) and Sandra (Fabrizio). A proud grandfather to Amanda ( Francesco), Sabrina (Byron), Alexander (Marcela), Nicholas (Christina), Madelaine (Nicholas) and Antonio (Emma) and an even prouder Bisnonno to Marcello and Isabella.”
elevated 3sqHh Vincenzo believed in working hard and always applying yourself to the tasks at hand and to learn new things. He opened his home with happiness and hospitality to anyone who visited. Nothing was more important to Vince than his family. If his family was happy, he was happy. He was a story teller. He loved to share stories and to listen to yours. His favorite place was spending time in his garden and enjoying the benefit of his hard work.

My condolences to the family! Vince, you will forever be in my heart. You were a very special person to me, you always had words of encouragement and wisdom when we talked. I learned SO SO SO much from you, be it walking in Downsview park or visiting you at your house. Words cannot describe how deeply saddened I feel knowing that I won’t hear your laughter and my conversation with you anymore. I will cherish your memories forever and always. This is not good bye, but good night and take your rest.

He was a beautiful man who we enjoyed listening to as he shared his stories. He always made us feel welcomed. We will miss him🙏🏼
Vincenzo was a truly kind and genuine man–always friendly and hardworking. He was so generous with his time and always willing to help out his good friends and neighbours especially in the garden. He was a master at it. Mention you needed some help and he was in our backyard the next day. His big smile and warm heart will always be remembered dearly. Our sincere condolences to the family. May you find comfort in the many beautiful memories he leaves behind.

We were sadden to hear of the passing of Vincenzo Iafrate
a treasure friend and a man whose generosity and kindness touched everyone. For more than ten unforgetable years we lived next door. Antonietta, my wife Mary and anti Meme never spent a weekend that they wouldn’t prepare a fantastic meal and of course Vince would bring out his best wine that He and Zio Vitorio, his father would make. We were more than friends we were a family. Vince was a man of remarkable generosity, always willing to give his time. He was the man we all turned to
when there was construction work to do.
We loved you, rest in peace.
