elevated a4VXI It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our dearest angel, Virginia B. de la Cruz, whom we fondly call Gigie.  God called Gigie on Friday, November 12, 2021 and she passed peacefully surrounded by family. Beloved second daughter of Aguido & Cecilia de la Cruz. Wonderful sister to Jane/Ching (Jimmy) Almero and Manette (Lou) de la Cruz-Vergara. Adored Aunt by Anna, Jimina and Jim Almero. Generous with her smiles, giggles, laughter, time, expertise and resources, she touched our lives in countless ways.  Gigie found friends and cherished them as she studied at Canossa Academy (Lipa), St. Scholastica’s College (Manila), and University of Toronto (Continuing Studies).  She was a dedicated buddy and colleague as she worked in the investment banking industry in Toronto where she was fondly called Gini.  She happily served her community as an officer of the Lipa City Association of Canada (LCAC).  Gigie loved to travel and pursued wonderful experiences with friends.  She booked awesome treats for her family while on vacations and enjoyed her escapades with friends to places around the world.  Being a devotee of our Lord of Divine Mercy and the Sacred Heart of Jesus, Gigie embarked on her perfect travel destination where best perks are offered, hopefully welcomed and guided, by our Lord on the Friday they set out for her eternal peace and happiness.
