elevated jDfNu It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Virginia Gorizzan (nee Zannese).Ā With her family by her side, she died peacefully on Friday, December 23, 2022, at the age of 92, and is now joined in eternity to her beloved husband, Americo.Ā Devoted mother of Emanuela (Glen), Claudio (Lynda), and Daniela (Costantino).Ā Loving grandmother of Fernando (Jessica), Eric, Giulia, Krista, Amanda (Scott), Fabio, and Kathryn.Ā Dearly missed by her brothers Onorino (the late Agnese) of Toronto, Piergiorgio (Franca) and Ivo (Liliana) of Fiume Veneto, Italy.Ā Cherished aunt of many nieces and nephews in Canada, Italy, France and Argentina. Lovingly remembered by many friends and extended family members in Canada and abroad.Ā Virginia was inspired by a strong faith and an enduring love for her family and friends. Her life-long passion for gardening was evident in the beautiful gardens she lovingly tended. If desired, donations to Radio Maria or the Heart and Stroke Foundation can be made in Virginiaās memory and are gratefully appreciated by the family.

Virginia was a rare and exceptional woman who truly lived her faith and who radiated love and kindness to everyone who crossed her path. She always put others first, inquiring about them and lifting others up even when her spirit was down. Family was very important to her and it is clear that her death has broken your hearts and left a huge void in your lives.
Virginia had the most heart-warming smile. Undoubtedly, her smile has not left her face since she has been in the presence of God and Mother Mary and has been reunited with her beloved husband.
May she rest in peace and may you be strengthened and comforted in your grief knowing that she was a blessing on earth and from heaven she will continue to shine her radiant light and love on all of you.

Virginia’s wonderful front yard garden is very eye-catching.
Our family newly moved here and didn’t get a chance to talk yet, but I saw her a couple of times at her entrance area when we drove along the street. From her daily wearing of decent clothing with jewelry and the very well-organized decorated exterior of the house, I believe she is a gracious lady with a beautiful mind. I even told my wife that it is Daniela’s Mom who is very elegant. I should have stopped and talked to her in person, at least it will make her happier that one more neighbor is appreciating the beauty of her flowers.
Hi Daniela and family, this is the most difficult things you have ever experienced. But your mumās characteristics and personality will be passed down to generations and she will be forever missed!
