It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Virginia Pereira, who entered into eternal rest on July 31, 2026.

Beloved wife of the late Percy Pereira. Cherished mother of Beryl (Collin) Gonsalves, Penny (late Don) Miranda, Glynis (Royston) D’souza, Yubretta (Stanley) Faria, and Sylvano (Wendy) Pereira. Adored grandmother of Corylann Gonsalves, Zuwaina Miranda, Reuben D’souza, Gabriel D’souza, Shanace Faria, Shawn Faria, Nathan Pereira, Eshton Pereira, and Esther Pereira.
elevated AHdk5 Visitation will be held on Monday, August 3, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Assumption Catholic Funeral Home, 6933 Tomken Road, Mississauga. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Francis Xavier Church, 5650 Mavis Road, Mississauga, followed by burial at Assumption Catholic Cemetery and a reception.

Our dearest Auntie Virgin was joyful like the month of May. Her cakes and bakes were without compare. When she laughed, it was a wonderful feeling as she cherished all the good things in life. Her energy was boundless. She was always there to help others. My mother was as so very fond of her youngest sister and together they took on the world. Rest in peace! You have done well in your children and generations to follow.
