elevated 2Ewkb Vito passed away Thursday, April 19, at the age of 76 at Sunnybrook Health Sciences surrounded by his loving family.  He was born on October 8, 1941 in San Vito Sullo Ionio, Italy,  He went on to apprentice as a cabinet maker before moving to Milan. From there he immigrated to Canada in 1966.

elevated 2Ewkb Vito was the beloved husband of Rita (nee Moretti) for 50 years, and cherished father of Steven (Dina), David (Nadia) and Lisa (Andrea).  He was a doting Nonno to seven grandchildren; Veronica, Nicholas, Ava, Sarah, Sofia, Simona and Sienna.  Loving brother to Giuseppe, Fernando, Ottavio, Ida, Claudio and Luciana.

elevated 2Ewkb Vito will be greatly missed by his family and many friends. He will be remembered for his passion for life, sense of humor and entertaining stories. He had great love for his family, especially his grandchildren from whom he could never get enough hugs and kisses. He took great pride in his cabinet making craftsmanship, and the furniture he built will be enjoyed by future generations. He loved his vegetable garden, roses and fruit trees. He loved making homemade wine and keeping old traditions alive.
