elevated vOvpL It is with immense sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother Widad on Wednesday, July 6, 2022. She passed peacefully at Mackenzie Health Hospital at the age of 87 surrounded by us all. Our mother was a devoted and loving wife to our father Joseph for over 63 years. She always enjoyed the time she spent with us, her children: Barb, Christine, John (Soizic), and Michelle. Even more, our mom loved every moment with her four beautiful grand-daughters: Lucy, Nicole, Emma, and Annika, and also her step-grandson, Etienne. We all have wonderful memories of our mom and the delicious weekly family dinners that she so enjoyed cooking for us over many, many years. Our strong, determined, beautiful, and loving mother will be missed always. Our mom will remain a part of all our lives.

Hi Asad,
My thoughts and prayers are with Widad and her loved families. Sorry for the loss of your sister Widad. We lost my mother, Julia in 2016 at the age of 92 to a stroke. We have wonderful memories of Widad. My mother and Widad are cousins on both sides of their parents.
Our deepest sympathy for your loss. We will always think of Widad fondly her warmth, generosity and hospitality. May she Rest In Peace and may you all find comfort in your beautiful memories of her. Sending our love at this difficult time.
