elevated FnT5W William Gerald Hegarty passed peacefully, surrounded by his family, on Thursday, August 1, 2019 in Richmond Hill, Ontario at the age of 88. William has been reunited with his beloved wife Claire Hegarty of 60 wonderful years. Loving father of Carole Peterson and her husband Steven and their children Kieran and Alyssa, Linda Sacco and her husband Tony and their children Cassandra and Julianna and Michael Hegarty and his wife Leona. Preceded in death by his sisters, Mary, Kathleen, Margaret and Rosaleen and survived by his brothers John, Seamus, Danny and Eugene. If desired, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.

Your parents were amazing people. They were so good to my mum after my dad died. Took her place visited and of course played Mahjong. Mum will miss them as will I.
