It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of William (Bill/Bub) Gordon Wood on May 21, 2026 at Georgetown Hospital in Ontario. Bill passed away, surrounded by family at the age of 85 after a brief battle with cancer. Born March 9, 1941 in Toronto Ontario, Bill will be lovingly remembered by his family and friends for the impact he had on their lives. Bill is predeceased by his beloved wife Anne (nee Belford) and beautiful daughter Mary Lou. He is survived by his sons Bill Jr (Suzanna), Steve (Catherine) and son-in-law Paul Bacci (Lisa).He will be greatly missed by his grandchildren, Mateya and Mya, Caroline and Michael, Danielle (Andre) and Julia (Joe) and great grandson Luca. Bill‘s memory will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew him. May his legacy bring comfort and strength to all who loved him.

 A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, June 19, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Brampton Legion, located at 1133 Queen Street East, Brampton, Ontario, L6T 4E2.
