elevated Bb7nL Obituary
elevated Bb7nL William Zalec (Bill) died on November 21, 2019 at the age of 83. Bill was born in Schumacher, Ontario on June 12, 1936 and, as a baby, returned with his parents to Slovenia. Bill is survived by patient and loving wife, Anne. Bill is survived by daughter Kelly, son-in-law John Paul and grandchildren William and newborn Charlotte. Bill is survived by son Rick, daughter-in-law Eleanor and grandson Michael. Bill is welcomed to his next life by his pre-deceased grandson Nicholas.
elevated Bb7nL As a boy, Bill grew up during WWII, in the small town of Damelj, Slovenia, on the river Kolpa. After serving (unwillingly) in the Yugoslav Army, Bill returned to Timmins and Hamilton, Ontario and spent his 27 year professional working career in Dofasco as a wood pattern maker and craftsman. Bill continued his working career owning, managing and maintaining a number of rental properties with wife Anne.
elevated Bb7nL Bill was a determined, energetic man of few words and many actions. All family, friends and neighbors knew that if something needed to get done, call Bill – he could fix, move, build, repair or solve almost anything. Bill and Anne traveled extensively throughout all of North America via motorhome. Bill was an outdoorsman, fisherman and Bar-B-Quer of vast quantities of meat.

So very sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.
