elevated TI7z1 It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing, at home surrounded by family, of Winston Chong.
elevated TI7z1 Devoted husband of 57 years to Louisa. Cherished father to Andre (Susie), Alison (Kint) and Antoinette. Dear son of the late Blanche Louise Chong and Chong Sea-Young. Youngest brother to Walter (Cathy) and Joyce Lee.
elevated TI7z1 Proud grandfather of Jasmine and Aidan. Loving uncle to adoring nieces and nephews.
elevated TI7z1 Heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Jonathan Tam, the doctors and nurses at Sunnybrook Hospital, Odette Cancer Centre and carers at St Elizabeth Healthcare.

Sad to learn of Chongie’s passing. I had the pleasure of working alongside him at Barclays Bank Jamaica Limited in Kingston in the early 1970s.
May his family be comforted and may his soul rest in eternal peace
RIP JOEY. We played on the 1958 and 1959 Wolmer’s Sunljght Cup Cricket Teams .We also worked together at Barclays Bank.
May he find eternal rest in the company of Angels.

I had the good fortune to work together with Winston at the Barclays Bank main branch in Kingston, Jamaica in the early 1970s. Admired, respected and well-liked for his quiet, confident countenance and ready smile, I got to know “Chongie”, as everyone knew him, as a good, kind and sincere friend.
